Turkish figs, freeze-dried and nothing more. Removing the water at low temperature keeps the fruit's colour, aroma and seed crunch while turning it into a light crisp rather than the sticky chew of conventional dried figs. Each 30 g pouch is made from 150 g of fresh figs. No sugar is added; every gram of sugar on the panel comes from the fruit itself. Scatter them over porridge, yoghurt or cereal, fold them into cake and pastry batters, drop them into hot or cold drinks, or serve them on a cheese board where the honeyed fig flavour works particularly well against blue cheese and walnuts. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and reseal the pouch tightly after opening.
